The installation archive (.tar.gz) contains a configuration script and can be downloaded directly from our Sourceforge project page. There you can choose an alternative download mirror if the default mirror is not available.

	pageLogger OnlineInstaller Version: 2.0.0.0 File type: php.zip File size: app. 150 kB Translations: English, German This installation type requires an internet connection, but you can use a http proxy if necessary (see below).
	pageLogger Installation Archive (tarball) Version: 1.6.0.0 File type: .tar.gz File size: app. 3,7 MB Translations: English, German The installation archive contains a small script for the basic configueation and installation of the required database tables. You do not need an internet connection (i.e. for usage on an intranet)

SVN Installation

You can also fetch the sourcecode from the Sourceforge subversion server. The database dump required for the pageLogger installation is contained within the subversion repository in the subdirectory "sqldumps". You have to import it manually, for example using phpMyAdmin or mysqlimport.

Please note: The table "wetnations" (used for IP-to-Country mapping) is very lange, so you may need to change your MySQL server configuration or use "mysqlimport" for importing the database dump.

Installation notes

Online installation:

The following system requiremens have to be met for using the OnlineInstaller:

• PHP 4.2.0 or newer
  
• The PHP configuration option "allow_url_fopen" has to be set
  
• or alternatively: PHP with curl extension active
  

The web server on which you want to install pageLogger using the OnlineInstaller has to have an internet connection. But you can use a http proxy for the installation.

Offline installation (installation archive):

You can use the offline installation archive, if either your server does not have a direct connection t the internet (for example on an intranet) or our update server is temporarily not available. Please note, that you may have to change your MySQL configuration to import the mysql database dump because of its size.

Important:  Don't forget to remove the setup script after the installation process to prevent damage by misuse!
